Decorticated red lentils 400g

Decorticated red lentils have had their seed coats removed. They are an excellent source of magnesium, folate, soluble fiber, and iron.

Compared to other legumes, red lentils are easier to digest and help control the glycemic index (they are therefore particularly suitable for those suffering from diabetes). In addition, they contain a low level of cholesterol and the few fats they provide are unsaturated.

They are particularly indicated during the weaning for their rich nutritional intake, because they are fiber-free and because of their cooking method: if cooked for a long time, they tend to flake easily, therefore easy to eat for  babies struggling with the first meals.
