Orange pudding is an easy, seasonal, light and tasty dessert. Perfect after a meal or for a delicious breakfast.
- 3 Eggs yolk
- 150g Sugar
- 200g Milk
- 250g Double cream
- 250g Single cream
- 100g Orange juice
- 12g Gelatine sheets
- Grated peel of 2 oranges
Soak the gelatine in a bowl full of cold water.
Grate the orange’s peel and put aside. Pour the milk, cream and orange juice into a pan and heat well.
In the meantime, whip the egg yolks with sugar using electric whips and add the orange’s peel.
Squeeze the gelatine sheets with the hands, pour it into the liquid mixture and stir for a few moments.
Pour the liquid mixture to that of egg yolks and sugar, stirring constantly to get an homogeneous mixture.
Pour the mixture into the baking moulds or in the glass jars. Store the orange pudding in the fridge for at least 2 hours
